Every one of all ages is invited to help plant annuals in our Children’s Garden located behind the Conservatory. A variety of small themed gardens will be planted including a pizza garden, a rainbow garden, and an alphabet garden. Come be a part of this memorable event!

Cathedral Women's Strawberry Festival
Christ Church Cathedral's annual Strawberry Festival will take place on Indianapolis' Monument Circle. Visitors will enjoy heaping bowls of strawberry shortcake with all the trimmings! In the event of rain, all orders will be filled in the basement.

Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Greenwood Amphitheater
Safe House Productions, Inc. opens the 2008 Shakespeare in the Park series with the audience favorite, A Midsummer Night's Dream. The show will be presented "in period" from the original language, but will be shortened to make it accessible to both enthusiasts and theater rookies alike. The one-hour length makes this performance perfect for families with children.

IMA Summer Solstice: Mare Fecunditatis
Venture to the IMA grounds in the moon’s full phase to mark the solstice with a purifying performance. Conceived by artist and zen archer Hirokazu Kosaka, Mare Fecunditatis ("sea of fertility") features choreographer and Japanese Butoh performer Oguri and cellist Emily Corwin. The experiential performance, including primal music, a single arrow shot, and a searchlight with the power of 12 million candles, blends traditional rites of purification from Japan with classical and contemporary Western influences. Presented in part by the IMA Asian Art Society.
Rain date: Sunday, June 22.

Greenwood Community Band Concert
Kickoff the 25th Annual Greenwood Freedom Festival with Family Fun Night at the Greenwood Amphitheater. Games and bounce houses for the kids open at 5 p.m. There will be FREE food beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the Greenwood Community Band's Patriotic Concert at 7 p.m.
