Are you going to attend these events? They are the kind of thing I love going to. You learn so much, meet neat folks and all at a minimal cost or none!
Seems I just want to comment here as I keep forgetting stuff. I did a post on Land Grant universities that explains the extension system throughout the United States. Purdue University must be one of the Land Grant Colleges for Indiana, which explains why the agents are affiliated with these colleges/universities. All publicly funded and set MANY years ago throughout the country.
I do plan on attending this event!
