Lunching at the L.S. Ayres Tea Room
One of my favorite places to eat downtown is the L.S. Ayres Tea Room located within the Indiana State Museum. The history, the ambiance and, most importantly, the Chicken Velvet Soup! Matt had the day off yesterday and came downtown to take me out to lunch here - we made reservations ahead of time (which is recommended). I enjoyed my soup and dessert but wished I would have ordered the Chicken Pot Pie like Matthew had - my sandwich wasn't so hot. Oh! And the cherry cokes have actual cherries in them!
Word of warning though - the underground parking garage at the Indiana State Museum only accepts cash. Thankfully there is an ATM nearby otherwise we would still be there counting our pennies!
