Having recently discovered Franklin, Indiana - I have become quite enamored. This sleepy, quaint, little town is tucked away on about 20 minutes or so south of Indianapolis. They have a dreamy little square in the center of the town with an amazing collection of shoppes. I love to go here for my gift shopping. Here are some great events for 2008 listed on the Discover Downtown Franklin website -which is amazingly hard to find - took me 2 Google searches and about 5 clicks till I finally got there. (not sure if their homepage should be primarily a list of events - but at least they have a homepage)
