Knit One Purl Two

I've been a rather pitiful blogger I know - but I've been busy - I've got good excuses! See the pic above of my wonderful husband sporting a knit hat - I've been chugging out knit items like a small factory! This is my first attempt at a hat - am pretty happy with it! I also made one with a roll brim. Two down - 3 more to go - not to mention the things I wanted to sew! Arg! How many days left to Christmas?!

I think I knit the scarf he's wearing too - it was the first one I ever knit! Been a busy little bee!

Thanks! It was fun and pretty easy to make! I need to whip out 2 more before Christmas - got the pattern from One Skein Wonders 101 Yarn Shop Favorites. Thanks for stopping by my blog - come back again!

I'm impressed. Maybe I should consider knitting. I've always been a crocheter...

Wow! So cool! I want to learn how to do that. Not sure thought if I'm capable? Keep up the good work. Think you need to sell your stuff on Etsy!!!!!

Cute hat -- lucky husband! I'm trying to teach myself how to knit and slowly realizing I need classes! :)

Momma Val - It was hard at first learning how to knit - but after a scarf or two I finally caught the hang of it - there is still a lot of little things I am still learning. Like Kfb....need to look that one up for today. Something about knitting front to back whatever that means!

I may start selling my stuff one day - if I get enough made up! Do I have at least one buyer - hint, hint. ;)

Electronic Goose - I started knitting when I check out the book Stitch 'n Bitch The Knitter's Handbook at the library. It starts you off slow and has great pictures to show you how its done! You should try to find the book at your library and give it a go! :)
